Logistic Coordinator and Superintendent (Mozambique)
The RINA is seeking a Logistic Coordinator and Superintendent (Mozambique).
RINA is currently seeking an experienced Logistic Coordinator & Superintendent for a major Oil & Gas project. The role involves managing and overseeing all logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow, timely delivery, and full alignment with project requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex international projects and a hands-on approach to logistics coordination and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Makes cost-advantages analysis relating to use of any agencies in the area, choice between commissions to despatching companies or single shippers, assignation of services to specialist agencies, the choice between ex-works despatch and inclusion of transport, etc.
- Follows up import, export, transit, despatch and transport custom papers.
- Manages and co-ordinates shippers and/or despatchers.
- Co-operates in management of transport insurance contracts with companies.
- Manages Project Information System relating to materials handling, routinely updating relative data.
- Plans transport with Expediting & Inspection Officer.
- Plans personnel crew change transport form onshore to offshore and vice-versa. Coordinate and manage passenger transport logistics within the operational scope, ensuring efficient and safe travel.
- Oversee planning, ensuring the mobilization of materials and personnel according to project specifications.
- Complete material flow management, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound logistics for optimal operational efficiency.
- Oversee material procurement, inventory tracking, and warehouse management to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for all material transactions and logistics.
- Provide logistics support for offshore/onshore operations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Supervised domestic and international air ticketing and land transportation services to ensure efficient and timely travel arrangements.
- Organized meet-and-greet services for company personnel and VIP visitors.
- Maintained continuous communication with company expatriates and locals for daily departmental activities and facilitating continuous improvement in departmental tasks.
- Uses a dedicated computerized program for these activities.
